The JC-2 Mobile Crushing Plant is a wheeled, two-chassis hard stone crushing and screening plant built around a CJC-90 primary jaw crusher, a secondary cone crusher and a vibrating screen. The notes below cover the materials it processes, the products it makes, its applications, and how it compares with alternatives.
What materials can the JC-2 process?
The plant is configured for hard, abrasive, high-silica rock and general aggregate feedstocks, including:
- Granite
- Basalt
- Gabbro
- River stone and river gravel
- Other competent quarried hard stone
What products does it make?
Working as a closed-circuit jaw-cone-screen plant, the JC-2 produces sized aggregate. The three-deck screen separates the crushed material so that three or four fractions can be produced at the same time, while oversize is returned to the cone crusher for further reduction.
Which industries and applications use it?
- Aggregate production for concrete and asphalt
- Road, highway and infrastructure works
- Hard stone quarrying
- Mining and mineral processing
- Contractors operating across multiple or changing sites
Mobile versus stationary: what is the trade-off?
The JC-2 can be relocated and commissioned quickly on hydraulic legs without foundations, which suits mobile and medium-term operations. A stationary plant of similar capacity typically delivers higher continuous output and broader configuration options but is fixed in place and needs civil works. The JC-2 prioritises mobility and short set-up time at a mid-range capacity.
What are the main wear parts and maintenance points?
Key wear items are the jaw plates and cheek plates of the jaw crusher and the mantle and concave liners of the cone crusher, along with conveyor belts, screen media and feeder liners. Liner life is governed by the abrasiveness and silica content of the feed, so very hard rock such as granite and basalt wears parts faster than softer stone and calls for closer monitoring.
How does it compare with alternative plants?
The JC series uses a cone crusher for the secondary stage, which is well suited to hard, abrasive feed and offers durable liner life. CONSTMACH's JCV plants add a vertical shaft impactor as a third stage for more cubical product, while mobile jaw-and-impact plants substitute an impact crusher for the cone and are generally aimed at softer, lower-abrasion materials such as limestone.
How does it integrate into a complete plant?
The JC-2 operates as a self-contained two-stage closed-circuit unit, with feeder, jaw, cone, screen and conveyors mounted across two chassis. It can run on its own or feed downstream screening or washing equipment where additional classification or washed aggregate is required.
